03. Blown fuse. Many user manuals will suggest that if your Kenwood stereo doesn’t turn on, you should take it to a service center. This solution remains valid, but if you plan to get it done by yourself, you have to check the fuse from behind the stereo by yourself. If the fuse is blown, you’ll have to replace it. If it's still not getting power, then plug the TV and adapter into another outlet that you know works. Also, try plugging something else that isn't the TV into the TV outlet. For that, you will need Blaupunkt deck-removal tools. Insert the deck removal tools into the slots in the corners of the radio and push the tools outward, away from the stereo. I had an existing Blaupunkt radio, 30 yrs old, wouldn’t even turn on. Was pretty sure it was getting power. I wanted another Blaupunkt with few bells and whistles, hopeful the connector was the same - it was. Pro: simple (easy, quick) to install; worked as advertised; sound quality is fine.
Look for the wires connected to the board and take them away. Remove the screws holding the power board. Then replace the old one. Put your new power board, then screw it carefully. Reconnect all the cables and wires. Put the back cover of your TV and secure it. Turn your TV on to check if the repair fixes the problem.
